After an adventurous motorbike couple spent 15 months travelling the world with the tried and tested Panamericana Kombi and were able to give us á la crème feedback on our suit thanks to their unique experience, it was obvious that we had to develop the new Panamericana II together with these two two-wheel enthusiasts.

Through daily use of the Panamericana suits, they knew exactly where details could be improved to bring comfort & suitability to an even higher level. After their trip, they sent their used suits back to Modeka headquarters so that we could see how bravely the Panamericana had endured, but also to understand where there was room for improvement.

A special request from Lukasz was a colour combination in natural sandy colours.
These are not only more resistant to light and dirt, but also protect against overheating in the sun, as light colours store less heat.

Main material:
750D strong Tactel® material. Tactel® is a special polyamide fabric that is particularly supple despite high abrasion resistance.

The reinforcements:
1000D Cordura® reinforces the fall points shoulder, elbow, hip and knee.
Leather reinforcement on the inner knee.
Heat resistant DuPont ™ KEVLAR® on the lower inner leg.
Anti-slip zone on the buttocks.

Protectors:
A full SAS-TEC® package protects you comprehensively. Back, shoulder, elbow and knee are equipped with Level 2 protectors.
The hip has a flexible honeycomb protector with Level 1 integrated, so you can ride even more unrestricted.

Visibility:
Retroreflective 3M ™ Scotchlite ™ material in unique, graphic designs.

Against rain & wind:
Removable Sympatex® membrane (water column: 45,000mm): 100% waterproof, windproof, dynamically climate regulating and breathable.

Against heat & perspiration:
Airdraft ventilation flaps with Fidlock® magnets on chest and thigh. Multiple strategically placed Airvents (ventilation zips) provide organised flow ventilation.

Against the cold:
Chic removable midlayer jacket. Can also be worn separately. The trousers have a removable thermal lining.

The sensible placement of several stretch inserts makes the sitting position comfortable and gives the protectors the space they need when the limbs are bent.

Revised underarm: Here the fit has been optimised, the adjustment options better placed, a stretch cuff inserted at the end of the sleeve and an extra ID/toll pocket added to the left underarm.

Several pockets inside & outside provide enough storage space.

Soft cuffs, neoprene insert at the chin and 3D mesh pockets for protectors provide all-round comfort that an adventurer needs.

Removable braces are integrated for a perfect fit.

Use of super robust zips that are more resistant to dust & dirt.

Sleeve adjustment without Velcro: No damage to the main material.

After removing the protectors, the suit can be washed in the washing machine on a gentle cycle.
