WE RIDE JEANS WITH PROTECTION
Everyone has one of them and we cannot imagine a world without jeans. They have been conquering the hearts of motorcyclists in the last decade and revolutionized the scene considerably.
As a part of our URBAN Collection, we have been producing motorcycle jeans that optimally protect you on your trips while being indistinguishable from normal jeans. Two criteria are especially important to us when it comes to jeans: The fit and protection.
FIT
Regular Fit: The casual classic among jeans.
This fit gives you a regular pair of jeans.
The legs are cut convex enabling the jeans to sit comfortably, giving your body a nice shape when worn. The legs get narrower towards the foot. This is a very subtle variant of the Tapered Fit, where the leg has a conic shape, wider at the top, narrower at the bottom. The jeans wraps your leg in a really relaxed manner.
This is not a slim fit and especially comfortable during a dynamic daily routine. It is wide enough to easily fill the jeans pockets as well.
You can roll the jeans up or let them fall over your shoes. The waistband is not too low, beginning between waist and hip.
These elements are part of decade-long jeans-history and turn the Regular Fit into an absolute classic. The Regular Fit suits every type of figure and provides comfort to muscular or bigger legs as well.
Slim Fit: Time to show your legs
This fashionable fit helps you to show off your body.
Our Slim Fit jeans generally have a high elasticity, providing comfort despite their tight fit. The legs are cut straight, unlike the Regular Fit. This pattern construction creates a clean and smooth look.
Our Slim Fit is not skin-tight on your ankle, enabling the legs to be rolled up or loosely sit on your shoes. This fit is especially suited for thin legs, but also for boys with enough self-esteem.
PROTECTION
The 2-Step Principle: The Inner Player
Motorcycle jeans can be equipped in different ways to provide the required protection.
Our jeans generally follow the 2-Step Principle. A normal pair of jeans on the outside, a fellow lining of aramid fibres on the inside.
These aramid fibres are heat resistant, synthetic fibres with a molecular structure of several bridges between the chains, giving the material an unbelievable strength.
This miracle fibre was developed in 1965 and used commercially as a replacement for steel in the 70s. Aramid’s main characteristics are its extreme tensile strength (15x higher than steel), high heat resistance as well as cut and puncture resistance.
Today aramid is widely used in protective clothing today. The miracle fibre is not just used to make motorcycle gear, but also to create bullet-proof clothing and cut-resistant material. We exclusively use the 100% original DuPont™ KEVLAR® material for our aramid protective layers.
The yellow inner layer in our jeans is light, soft, and elastic and is used partially. Butt, hips, thighs, and knees are optimally protected by the aramid layer.

Protectors: The Must-Haves
Next to our inner layers protectors are a must-have.
Every Modeka jeans comes equipped with height-adjustable and removable knee protectors. There are two positions for the knee protectors. You can set the knee protectors to the higher or lower position depending on your stature.
Jeans that have been part of our collection for a while are equipped with verified SW® protectors with a Protection Level 1. The SW® protectors are classic knee protector known from the touring sector. They are suitable for jeans because they are soft and flexible despite their size.
The protector market has seen some interesting new development since 2019. More and more manufacturers are producing ultra-flat and flexible protectors, much more comfortable and practically invisible while offering the same level of protection as the regular ones.
That is why we are integrating the revolutionary (and of course verified) SAS-TEC® SC-1/KA (Protection Level 1) into our new models. They impress with intelligent design and stay flexible even in low temperatures. They perfectly adapt to your knee with every movement and in every seating position while being practically imperceptible. They are basically invisible as well.
By the way, if you have a pair of Modeka jeans with SW® protectors in your closet you can easily replace them with the flat SAS-TEC® protectors.
To protect your hips, the protector pockets can be filled with popular hip protectors. We recommend the SC-1/07 or SC-1/KA by our German partner SAS-TEC®.
